Born of Native American Chippewa Indian decent, raised a fisherman’s daughter in the town of Fairport,
Michigan . At an early age I fell in love with a kaleidoscope of arts ranging from drawing, wood crafting and playing guitar. After leaving the Upper Peninsula to finish high school, returned to my roots in the picturesque town of
Garden to raise a family then pursue a music career.
In the summer of 1990 my single was released to all the radio stations across the nation which critique upcoming singers and song writers. Run Away ranked number 57 in the “Indie Bullet” charts. After my single the band Diamonds & Gold was created which consisted of several talented musians traveling the ends of the Upper Peninsula, Wisconsin and
Lower Michigan for several years. The band retired, and I emerged myself into my writing and teaching myself to play the guitar, which enabled me to compose more than two dozen original songs.
Meeting David Lawrence of Hawley Court Studio, he was impressed with the enormous range of vocals I possessed and wanted to record some of my original songs which brought about the band Diamonds & Gold Take Two, an acoustic trio. With a spin on pop and country, we girls were said to be anything but in between, and with the first note you could hear the chemistry.
An Artist at heart, I'm now absorbed in the art of pen and ink. Drawing specialized keepsakes I can take your very own photographs of your home, your cabin, your place of business, your pets and create a special drawing just for you. With my pen in hand, recording and recapturing history preserving our past.
